All businesses located within the City and County of Denver may be eligible for grant-funded AEDs. Please note, any business or organization that applies for free AEDs must also commit to training a minimum of ten (10) people per device received (this requirement may be flexible in the instance of larger facilities) to help ensure the overall effectiveness of this lifesaving program. Also, economic need of the applicant will be considered.*

* American Red Cross chapters are prohibited from facilitating the purchase of AEDs with any entity that receives reimbursements from Medicare/Medicaid for any service or patient (not just AEDs). This includes doctor’s offices, health care clinics, dental offices, etc. If your company or business receives Medicare or Medicaid reimbursements, you will not be eligible to apply for an AED through the Save A Life Denver program.
